No time to set up your new rig? No problem, we've got you covered. We'll coordinate installation with a local provider. Check out our Installation Guidelines before ordering.
Here's the rundown: 1) measure your site and 2) make sure it's level (or at least no more than a 10-in slope over a 20-ft span). If you have any questions, send us an email at email@example.com and we'll have one of our designers reach out to make sure the set you've picked fits safely in your space. In your email, please include your site address, a picture of the site, and the model and features you're considering.
PLEASE NOTE: In certain instances, the installation fee may be higher based on unique site conditions, region, and availability.
SwingSesh equipment is designed to be easily installed using simple tools and takes two or three adults in 3-6 hours, depending on the model. View the timelapse installation video below or download the Installation Manual. (Model-specific installation manuals can be found on each model's product page in the 'Product Features' section.)
Step 1: Measure your Yard
The first step is to measure the space you want to dedicate to the play equipment. This will help you decide which model will fit your space best. The overall footprint and dimension for each model are shown on each product page. And remember, there are different configurations for each model that change the dimensions slightly and might make it a better fit for your site. Safety best practices recommend having a 6-ft wide clear area around the perimeter of the set.
As you're analyzing your site, don't forget to check the slope. You can work with a slope of about 10 inches over 20 feet. If your site is steeper than that, we recommend leveling it before installation. The more level the site, the easier installation will be!
Step 2: Order your Set
Once you've measured your yard and decided on the perfect set, go ahead and place your order online. Although we have one of the easiest DIY installations, but if you'd like us to coordinate installation, add Installation Services to your cart. We'll reach out to you to get some more information and we'll ask you to send us pictures of the site. We'll contact local providers and coordinate installation.
Step 3: Accept the Delivery
Your set will arrive via LTL (less than truckload) freight and typically takes about 1 to 2 weeks after shipment confirmation but may take longer based on current conditions in the shipping market. Fitness playsets arrive packed in a large crate measuring 95"L x 50"W x 40"H and weighing 400-1500lbs (varies based on your chosen options). If your order includes a slide, the slide will be a separate package - The crate will arrive in a large truck with a liftgate and the driver will unload the crate, typically at the end of the driveway. Inspect the shipment upon delivery and note any visible damage on the paperwork provided by the delivery driver.
Step 4a: DIY Installation
We have one of the easiest installs on the market so you can quickly get to playing! All you need is a level, 1/2" wrenches, and a 1/2" ratchet for our anchors. Upgraded posts require 1 1/2" wrenches.
With two or three people that can easily lift 75 pounds the Slim Sesh can be setup in 2-3 hours and a SuperSesh will take 5-6 hours.
Pick the layout you want before uncrating and layout the components accordingly.
If dads are involved, make sure someone is reading the directions! <---
Step 4b: Professional Installation
Once your set has been delivered, you can finalize the date and time for installation with a chosen local provider. Before the starting installation, you’ll want the site to be level within about 10 inches over 20 feet.
You will also want to consider some type of playground safety surfacing such as mulch or rubber tiles.
Due to high demand, production time is currently running 1-2 weeks from time of purchase.

Why is a steel SwingSesh better than a traditional wood playset?
The heavy-duty steel used to construct each SwingSesh will stand the test of time, is low-maintenance, and moveable. Unlike wooden playsets, there’s no need to paint or stain it each year and you won’t have to worry about the structure cracking, warping, rotting, or splintering. Keep it looking as good as new by simply hosing it off once in a while.
Will my SwingSesh rust?
Extensive lab tests and real-world use of our thermoplastic coating indicate working life of over 70 years. Rust and corrosion are prevented with this durable, high-quality thermoplastic coating on all structural steel components. Small components like swing hardware are stainless steel or coated to prevent corrosion.
Will my SwingSesh fade from exposure to the sun?
The thermoplastic coating contains an extremely effective UV inhibitor that offers protection from harmful UV rays in even the most demanding environments. Additionally, the coating regulates the temperature of the steel - it won’t be too hot in the summer and won’t be too cold in the winter.
Is it easy to assemble?
Yes! Two adults can easily assemble a SwingSesh in a few hours. All the holes are pre-drilled and all the bolts use the same wrench. Earth anchors are included and they screw right into the ground - no concrete footers needed. View the timelapse installation video below and check out our Assembly Manual for more details. If you'd rather not do it yourself, we'd be happy to coordinate installation services for you.
Do you offer different color schemes?
Have a specific color scheme in mind? We can do that! Available colors are shown below and include: Azure Blue, Forest Green, Crimson Red, Sunshine Yellow, Russet Brown, Dark Grey, Light Grey, & Chocolate Brown. Before ordering, send us an email at email@example.com to work with our design team. Custom colors require additional production time and may incur an additional charge. Please note slides are available in blue, green, & red, while coated swing chain is available in blue, green, red, or black.
Can I add more accessories to my SwingSesh in the future?
Yes! Our modular design will allow you to add SwingSesh features and components like a slide, monkey bars, or extra rig in the future. We’re constantly working on the next best thing - a landmine attachment and shade sail will be available soon! Have a great idea of an add-on you’d like to see? Let us know by shooting an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
What makes SwingSesh’s slides better?
Our slides are rotomolded plastic, which means they have a double wall. They are larger, heavier, and stronger than slides you’ll find on most other residential playsets. Even better, they’re made right here in America!
How does the equipment anchor to the ground?
Earth anchors are provided with every set; you do not need concrete footers. The 18-inch aluminum screw-style earth anchors are inserted through a hole in post feet and securely anchor the set. Anchors are installed with a 1/2" square drive and the top sits flush to the ground. Anchors can be removed and reused in a new location.

This product has been engineered and manufactured for residential use. It is the responsibility of the owner and supervisors of this SwingSesh equipment to make sure all users obey the safety instructions provided with the equipment. The equipment is intended for use by children and adults two years of age and over; monkey bars are recommended for children five years of age and over. Children should only use the equipment under adult supervision. Do not let anyone use equipment until completely and properly assembled and anchored.
SAFE SURFACE & AREA: Place the equipment on level ground, not less than 6-ft from any structure or obstruction such as a fence, garage, house, overhanging branches, laundry lines, or electrical wires. Do not install the equipment over concrete, asphalt, packed earth, grass, carpet, or any other hard surface. A fall onto a hard surface can result in serious injury or death to the equipment user. It is recommended that the equipment be placed on a shock-absorbing surface. Shredded bark mulch, wood chips, fine sand, or fine gravel are considered to be acceptable shock absorbing surfaces when installed and maintained at a sufficient depth under and around the equipment. The equipment must be anchored to the ground.
PREVENT ENTAGLEMENT: To prevent entanglement and strangulation, dress children appropriately using well-fitting shoes and avoiding ponchos, scarves, jackets with neck drawstrings, cord-connected items, helmets with straps and other loose-fitting clothing that is potentially hazardous while using the equipment. These items can cause deal by strangulation.
TEACH CHILDREN: Adult supervisors must teach children the following: not to walk close to, in front of, behind, or between moving items; not to twist swing chains or ropes or loop them over the top support bar since this may reduce the strength of the chain or rope; to avoid swinging empty seats; to sit in the center of the swings with their full weight on the seats; not to use the equipment in a manner other than intended; not to get off equipment while it is in motion; not to climb when equipment is wet; and not to attach items to the equipment that are not specifically designed for use with the equipment.
USE OF SQUAT RACK ATTACHMENTS: Users must exercise extreme caution if electing to use a barbell with the squat rack attachment, sold separately. When actively using a barbell, the swings cannot be used. Never leave a racked barbell unattended and always remove the barbell from the squat rack when not in use.
